An ice bath is simple. You sit in cold water for a short period of time. Many athletes, high performers, and health focused people use cold water therapy as part of their recovery routine. It is simple, powerful, and easy to make part of your day.
We recommend consulting a healthcare professional before starting, particularly if you have a cardiovascular history or are pregnant. For healthy individuals, consistency matters far more than extreme temperatures. A foundational routine involves aiming for 11 to 15 total minutes of cold exposure per week, split into 2 to 4 sessions. Start at around 15 °C for 3 to 5 minutes. Once you feel comfortable, gradually move toward 10 to 12 °C.
Daily recovery & beginner: 10 to 12 °C for 3 to 5 minutes.
Advanced recovery & focus: 8 to 10 °C for 3 to 5 minutes.
Mental strength & fat burn: 3 to 6 °C for 2 to 5 minutes.

Usually 2 to 4 hours for the first cool down. The Pro and Ice Making Chillers cool the water by around 4 to 5 °C per hour. From room temperature your ice bath is ready in 2 to 3 hours for most users. Heating is even faster, also around 4 to 5 °C per hour.
